East Caucasus village rug. 1890 - 1915. 120 x 250 cm. All wool. Pile: Glossy 4-6 mm high. A rare rug with non-commersial size and with nomad structure and drawing. Some pattern element are from Shirvan - Kuba area but this rug, with rombs and latch hooks, is probably from a Turkish Shahsavan group. Good condition without repairs.
