This is a Japanese indigo dyed cotton shibori kimono. a combination of shibori dying techniques are used to achieve this beautiful stream and maple leaf motif. The meandering stream pattern is made using linked dot shibori or tatebiki kanoko. The maple leaves are a variation on ori-nui shibori.
