Chain stitch embroidery (tambour work?) using both silk floss and metallic embroidery threads on scarlet silk ground. Fully backed with soft green silk also used as border edging.Border and backing is hand-stitched. Condition: excellent. Size: 62 1/2 inches x 92 inches (5' 2 1/2" x 7' 8"). Sizes exclude green silk border.
