Maden(Turkey)Prayer Rug 1900-1910 From the hills above Diyarbakir, with it's own variation on Turkish tulips, this 4 x 6 full pile rug has cochineal and geranium (Kurdish) in the dyes casting cool blues and deep dark red in the mirhab. Full Pile with one dime sized hole, overall condition is good. No fading. From the Basmaci brothers in Istanbul originally. Strong rug with lots of life left.
