Unusual Ewe man's cloth diamond shaped weft float patterns called "akatsi" or "tears" and an irregular scattering of larger float motifs. The combination of a dark blue warp with an off white weft has given this quite heavy cloth an appealing and unusual speckled effect. This complete and intact cloth is in excellent condition, dates from circa 1930s.
