a pair of hard to find small, vintage Karakecili flatwoven sumak heybe (bags/khorjin), now detached, 19c. Very tightly woven, one retains the original back with old make-do repairs. These belong to the same design type of vigorously latchooked concentric diamonds as seen in the small rug also posted on rabbit (see image for comparison). The deeply saturated indigo and madder dyes include highlights of green and yellow, with small hits of white accents. Difficult to discern and best seen in the reverse view, the wool quality is exceptional, with a high luster. sold
