Shahsevan Gallery Rug / Moghan steppe, west of the Talish mountains. Excellent condition, with original kel:m ends and selvedges. Red wefted, with a very well executed weave. Circa 1870-80. Size; 9'7" x 3' 6". The wool is soft and lustrous, and there are no synthetic dyes. There is natural undyed camel in the border and in some places in the field as well.
