This is a traditional shawl of "Rabari" community. Circa 1920s. This unique shawl is collected from Nangarparkar, Sindh, Pakistan neibouring border with Kutch, Gujrat, India.I t was used as bridal veil in a wedding ceremony. It is made of hand woven and hand dyed cloth with embroidery called "hurmutch", mirror-work and hand appliqued.
