19th c. Chinese Cut Velvet Pictorial Wall Hanging Landscape with three-tiered pagoda in forest. River, bridge and water fall included in scene. Some brush work included with cut velvet (4’9” w x 6’1” h). Mostly light brown with black and rest red. Silk brocade floral and peach repeat pattern of 5 ½” border frame with colors of light rust red and yellow. Backed with patterned rough weave silk with flying cranes and flower and vine repeat. Colors of deep olive green and orange. Chinese writing and chop mark at lower left corner. Size: 68” w x 83”L Good condition, except two small 3/8” holes in body.
