a 3rd. to 4th. Quarter 19th. Century Belouch bag with original back. Soft silky wool in jewel tone colors of navy blue, teal blue, two shades of rust orange and a noncorrosive brown, natural black and natural white. The bag is 27" wide and 48" long(opened out) or 24" long if the back is folded up. The piece is in excellent condition with a few small areas of pile loss. Just a beautiful example of fine old Belouch weaving.
