Adana-Aleppo Kilim, 2nd to 3rd Quarter of the 19th Century. Thin weave. Excellent colors: Greens, purples, indigo, cochineal, Turkey red-like red. Absolutley wonderful side borders of meandering vines and flowers. The end borders are archaic. Some areas of wear and some light staining in one of the cotton panels. 153 x 401 cm.
