"Gol Farang" (french rose) Afshar Rug 183 x 158 cm. ( 6 ft. x 5.2 ft. ) Sirjan region, se Persian, Circa 1900. Highly decorative Afshar rug with stylized roses on a mid blue ground. Beautiful white ground border with alternating boteh and floral motifs. In fairly good condition with some corrosion of the dark brown color, which is inevitable for the age.
