Antique northwest Persian very wide bag or trapping, probably Kurdish, with high quality wool and vibrant natural colors. Very delicately drawn boteh on the dark blue ground. Overall good tight weave with even low pile. i see numerous small old spots of crude repair/patches mostly along edges and small fields damages as shown. Original kelim sewn under on bottom edge. As found, dirty and in need of a good wash. Late 19th c. 22” x 51”
