a late 19th century Melas/Milas Western Anatolian Prayer rug size 120 x 90cm An unusual design very carefully drawn with a wide range of colours (including a fugitive red which has left minor colour runs in places in the white field and border) In good overall condition with medium pile, evenly worn. Kilim ends extant, fragmented at one end and intact and almost fully braided at the other.
