"Lotto" Ushak, late 19th century, 380x145cm Beautiful cloud-band bordure with stylized, mythological animal figures. Different shades of nice greenish blues. Perfect condition, original, intact selvages and kilim-ends. The only one problem can be seen on the last picture: a very little unstrung place in a corner. Huge size, no repair at all. The wool is more thicker and more shiny in the bordure, than in the main yellow-red field, where the tone is more pastel, but a bath could bring back to life this field as well. Wool on cotton.
