6 precisely drawn Salor gül, great diamond devices in the space with a beautiful kotchaks in their center containing an other diamond... a wonderful tribal fractal.
Multi colored small ‘boxes' all around.
Material:
Wool warp, wool weft, wool, all organic dyes incl. insect dyed magenta silk used for the highlights.
Also on of the finest Turkmen weaving i have ever handled. 9-10 warp yarns on 1 cm.
It has a paper thin handle, perfect wool quality, the softest velvety touch, what you can imagine.
Also the range of organic dyes on this one take that one out of the crowd.
You can get it mostly in the borders. Different shades of yellows, blues, etc.
Condition:
The pile is full.
Some of the corrosive insect dyed silk is also still present.

115x75cm
