Mushwani Belouch/Baluch, circa 1900, 2'10"x5'6", wild and beautiful, with vivid red, blue, aubergine and white; symmetrically knotted; kilim ends are complete except for small rough spot at the upper left corner; great floppy handle; upper and bottom thirds and borders have moderate silky pile - middle has low pile with corrosion of some of the aubergine and brown. Degradation of the selvage here and there. On my wall these past twenty years. a prize from Tony Kitz Gallery. Newly cleaned. sold thank you.
