a rare very old and beautiful southwest china miao woman tunic. the collar seems to have been replaced years ago,there is some patches and the silk embroidery is worn in places. the front of such tunics was always intentionally shorter for showing the design of the skirt. minorities textiles from that age are hard to find these days.
