Very strange and exiting nw Persian rug, perhaps mid 19th c. with the most beautiful border and very good colours. Reduced at one end, 315x106 cm. Some irregular knoting, mostly good pile and four restored areas, the biggest is a triangel that is about 12x12x12 cm. and tthe smallest is 3x2.5 cm. It has no shirazi left. This is one of the most amazing rugs that i have had. It is not washed, so it will be even better then. Both double wefted and single wefted areas. Pictures are a little too dark.
