Wonderful Qashqai kilim. Size 160x250 cm/ 64x100 inches. Most likely of very good age (19thC). Fine weave and very supple handle. Interesting design, not often seen and sometimes found on gabbehs. Great saturated, all natural colors. Especial to mention the two great red fields on a green field surrounded with a magnificent glowing gold ochre and light blue highlights. Most of the white is bleached cotton. Another detail to mention are the scattered small tufts of colored wool inserted in the weave. Condition as found with some wear (see pictures).
