isl_0098 Afghanistan Tinned Copper Magic Dish, Late 19th/Early 20th Century, 11", Difficult to photograph but an interesting object. The base metal is copper which has been given a thin coating of tin. It is covered with magical squares and other talimanic mumbo jumbo. i bought this in Peshawar but it may be from Afghanistan where such things are more commonly found.
