Beautiful 1890's Tabriz, size is 4'x5', has a few low area's, the binding on one side is curled, full, thick pile, a dealer told me he showed this rug to an Iranian man from the Sarouq area, and this Iranian man claimed this rug to be from Ghiassabad (a village where the best "sarouq's are woven). i don't think so. It is about an inch narrower on one side than the other.
