Early caucasian rug. Boteh or boats with oars? Unusually dynamic drawing both in field and borders. i have never seen a field drawn like this. All natural colors including a splendid old purple. Unrestored with very heavy brown corrosion as expected. Mostly fair pile. As found, imperfect. ca. 1850 or earlier. 3'8" x 9'9"
