Interesting dated 19th century Anatolian prayer? rug from the Kosak area of Balikesir district between Çanakkale and Ezine in n.w. Anatolia. Natural dyes and possibly synthetic orange, kilim guard ends with triangular amulet decorations and the Arabic date 1310 which is 1892. Good original condition, wear to selvage edges & 1 broken edge cord (see last photo) 136x87cm
