Here is a beautiful 19th. Century Ikat robe from Uzbekistan. Woven silk on cotton with a light egg white wash. The colors are brilliant in white, golden yellow, green, red, blue & purple. The coat is in very good condition with a few minor splits at the color. Lined with old cotton print the coat measures 52" from sleeve to sleeve and 51" from the top to bottom. The design matches together in the front and has a wonderful medallion centered on the top in the back. a great piece for display or for wearing to the opera.
