this is a rajisthani camel cover from the early 19th century.its has all natural dyes and reverse applique all over it.these are used for decorating camels at the time of festival and ceremonies.generally they have very bright colors used in them but this has all natural dyes.this piece is a little damaged from one corner due to its age and use.the pattern of applique is very fine with flowers in it.it is very rare for camel covers with natural dyes because the rajisthani people are known for using using very vibrant colors in there belongings.
