this piece is from weston india gujarat.it is used for decorating marriage canopy and is also given in dowry(dowry is parents gifts to their daughter when she get married)it is all hand embroidered and has natural dyes used in it.handmade silk threads are used in the piece.the gujarati people generally used yellow and red color but this piece has a very rarely used purple color.the size of the piece is 72cm x 76cm.it is at least 80 to 90 years old.the piece is in excellent condition with no holes and stains.
