Long indian cashmere shawl with nine colors for the Western fashion during the Second french Empire.Twill tapestry of an explosive flurry of bright and generous colors. Small black reserve center highlighted by white cartridges and stylized paisley motifs. Embroidered fringed edges. Very nice condition and colors.Dimensions: 320 cm x 134 cm.
Two small missing parts of 15 cm long (and 2 cm wide) in the harlequined embroidered frindges on one hand and on one border side on the other hand (please check and see photos). Some very tiny and rare moth holes only visible by transparency. Black reserve center is impeccable. Otherwise the rest is gorgeous!
