Beshir Torba 38 inches by 22 inches. At first glance this looks like a corner fragment of a carpet size rug. But it is actually a large Beshir bag face. Confusing because it appears to have remnants of triple selvedges on both sides. What happened is that it originally had two Tauk Nuska guls. It has lost part of one gul plus the left borders. Then-- someone (a long time ago) meticulously rewove the selvedges. Fragment that it is, still a very interesting and finely made old Turkoman textile for not a lot of dough. $15 us shipping.
