tibetan black brown abrashed saddle top. thick knot, super soft pile with yack hair warps. nice patinated back. complete with original selvedge and ends. no repairs and the expected wear on the horizontal middle axis on both side. the white shadow in the middle, visible on the main view is not real and is a light effect. it is quite difficult to photgraphy, for a better rendering of the true color please see the details pics, for example the first and last one which are showing the middle field. few pieces like this exist, this is for sure an interesting 19th century collectible tibetan trapping, today hard to find. 52x 71cm.
