Antique early caucasian prayer rug, dated 1286. Interesting design with an unusual and well drawn border. "As found", very dirty with low pile, some wear and edge roughness as shown. Areas of brown oxidation. i see no repairs. Although very dirty the rug appears to have all excellent natural colors. Probably kazak. As i read the date the rug is 1855-1860. 2'10" x 4'5"
