Russian Trade Cloth. Russia, early 20th century. Roller-printed length with an unusual design of clocks and chandeliers. 56" x 22.5". Right selvedge intact, but missing 1.5" from left side. This fabric had been used (probably as a quilt cover or backing) so there are small holes scattered over the piece where the batting was tacked down and little stitching holes along the selvedges where the seams were sewn. All hardly noticeable unless held up to light. Has a few larger 1/4" holes (shown in detail photos). There are no color runs or stains.
