Victorian Needlepoint Border. Wool hand-stitched petit point (not quite sure if this would qualify as petit point) with olive-brown glazed chintz fabric attached. Needlepoint measures 4.75" x 80". Chintz is 4.5" x 80". Over 44 different colors of wool have been used with each floral group worked in different hues. Very good condition except for a few small spots where stitches are missing (see photo detail - area where black is missing is 1/4" wide). No stains, fading or holes.
