Antique Heriz (not Karadja) runner 322 x 100 cm ( 10ft 9" x 3ft 4") late 19th/early 20th century all natural dyes colours: red, dark blue, mid blue, ocre, green, soft pink, brown, dark brown (lightly corroding), white condition: good, medium pile with lower areas and minor wear (see pics), original selvedges complete and intact (partly overcast and minor damage), both ending complete and intact technicals: symmetrical knotting, warps: handspun cotton, wefts 2 strands of handspun ivory cotton, lower ending: original closed looped warps, upper ending: original braiding intact (very minor damage)
