Caucasian Shirvan Prayer Rug. Mounted/size of the linen support(Full size): 110 x 182cm (size of the rug fragment: 100 x 172cm). 19th century, i was told over 150 years old. Provenance: The rug had an old jerrehian brothers, rugs of quality, philadelphia cloth label on the back sewn into the rug. It was bought originally from the us, then brought to Turkey, where it got backed and conserved.
