Hand Spun Wool Pile, Very Finely Asymmetrically Hand Knotted to Hand Spun, Undyed, Ivory/White Wool Warps and Wefts. It Displays a Superb Example of the Classic Mina Khani All Over Flower Design in the Field which is Surrounded by a Main Border of Geometric Flower and Vine form and a Minor Border of Small Turkoman Style Minor Guls.
ALL vegetable dyes Include a Black Ground which Shows Corrosion probably Created from Gaul Nuts, Some Stunning Aubergine, a Range of Madder Hues and Undyed Ivory/White as a High Light.
Original Four Strand Selvedges Intact, All Over Even Pile with Black Ground Corroded as Expected and minor signs of the years at the One of warp ends with the other warp ends still retaining the original flat weave warp treatments.
