Hand Spun Wool Pile Finely Asymmetrically Hand Knotted to Cotton Warps and Blue Cotton Wefts with One side of the Knot Slightly Indented into the Weave. The Excellent Vegetable Dyes Including a Range Indigo Blue and Blue Green Tones, Finely Drawn Central Medallion and Amazing Inclusions in the Borders Designs where the Weaver has Expressed their Unique Traditional Weaving Artistry by Creating Four Panels which Over Step the Minor Borders are Obvious Proof that this Antique Mahal was Created in the Home of the Rug Weaver Living in a Village in the Arak Region of Western Persia Prior to 1930.
This Mahal is in Extremely Good Condition for its over 80 Years of Age with all Over Good Even Pile, Original Selvedges and even the Original Warp Treatments in Good Condition.
