Back
Late 19th century West Anatolian Aydin Cine kilim, a recent arrival from a number of collectible antique kilims found in Turkey in October. This two piece dowry kilim is in very good condition with a little reweave to corroded brown, as normal for a kilim of this age. Interesting slight variations in motifs, drawing and colours used in the two panels woven by the bride and groom's families. Crisp drawing of motifs and good colours in a natural wool field. Size 380cm x 156cm.
