Back
Fereghan Sarouk. 4 ft 4 inches by 6 ft 5 inches. 19th century rug ex. Ben Edwards collection. Hugely decorative old thing w/ big bright ivory medallion. Strong colors w/ numerous abrashes. Actual knot count (as opposed to b.s. mendacious rug dealer knot count) is 15 x 18 kpi (270 kpsi). Conditionwise-- pretty decent and serviceable. There are no repairs; no dry spots. Pile is low but even with no exposed foundation anywhere. Both ends are missing a few rows; secured well with button hole stitch. Strips were properly sewn under the sides to keep the edges from curling. Its not stiff but i will roll it rather than fold it to ship. The photos tell the story. Approximately $20 ups ground to the Lower 48)
