This is the full width of the panel, as confirmed by the double selvage cords on both sides of the kilim, although this is part of what was a larger kilim like this example in this link to the Peyton Wright Collection in New Mexico http://peytonwright.com/modern/artwork/malatya-flatweave-4/ Fine, shiny wool characteristic of some east Anatolian tribes, paricularly the Shavak tribe which also uses this fine soumac technique (see the baby carrier also on Rugrabbit). This examnple may be Sinanli and observations are welcome. Wool using natural dyes on an undyed brown sheep wool warp of different natural colours.
