The berber carpet originates from Morocco. It is, like a Persian Gabbeh or a Turkish Tüllü, very coarsely woven, with many wefts between the knot rows. The simple, geometric pattern, only in brown and red on beige ground is separated by two red stripes into three areas. In addition, there is a red, dot-like pattern on the central axis as well as brown lengthwise striping. The carpet shows traces of age and wear. The dimensions are 3.05 x 1.41 m.
