An Anatolian Konya. The red field depicts heavily stylized cloves tendrils. The field is framed by a reciprocal battlement motif and a wider border. The broad blue main border depicts a rapport pattern of cloves. The condition of the carpet is good relating to the age of the object with various small restored areas. The pile is evenly thin. The rug measures 1.45 x 1.15 m.
