Match safe, Unknown manufacturer, probably European. Sterling silver, porcelain. 1 7/8" (4.7 cm) high. c. 1895. This unique match safe has several hallmarks: two on the outside lid and four on the inner rim. The center porcelain plaque depicts a pipe and the wish for "Just one more". a loop and a jump ring on the side originally connected to a chain. The lid is secure and snaps closed - a unique pillbox.
