"Tulip" Ladik prayer rug, Turkey, Konya region, 1850-1880, wool on wool, 200x135 cm, 5 borders (!) made out of wonderful yellows (a pastel one until the middle of the Mihrab and a striking old anatolian saffron one from there to the top), blues, greens around and elegant empty deep-red mihrab. Absolutely rare flower positioning under the Mihrab, usually these tulips are faceing downwards. As found condition, clear, some small worn spots, original ends on both sides, original kilim ending on the downer end, overall good condition. More pictures on request.
