antique kurdish rug with classic diamond design field and some unusual features. Interesting quirky designs added to either end of the field and unusual very light green pile. This very light green pile appears to have rich yellow strands clearly visible. All natural colors in this rug. Some small spots of wear as shown but mostly good thick pile making this a heavy piece, probably 15 lbs. "as found" in New England just this week and in need of a good wash. i haven't seen a fresh example of this type in some years now. Good age, ca. 1875. 4'6" x 7'9"
