Unusual Uzbek napramash from Samarkand or Nurata. Following some debate about this piece and the difference between Khirgiz and Uzbek khorjins and napramash, the consensus is now that this is an Uzbek napramash from between 1900 and 1920 from the Samarkand area. i had never seen a similar example until recently and they seem to be quite rare. The right hand border is missing and there are old moth bites to the pile. It is reduced to €95 and one of the 50+ Anatolian kilims, fragments and other weavings on sale until the end of August to make space for kilims soon to arrive from Turkey. Size 72cm x 45cm.
