Early pair of Tibetan or Mongolian Buddhist tsakli.

Tsakli are small thangka paintings used for personal Buddhist practice and are sometimes painted in a series for teaching. The first tsakli possibly depicts the Indian Mahasiddha Dombi Heruka or perhaps Je Tsongkapa. However, while both these Lamas can be represented riding a 'fierce tiger', the former is usually shown with a snake lassoo in his right hand and the latter a sword. 18th or early 19th century. Any suggestions on their iconography is welcome. Size 88mm x 76mm.
