Beautifully carved from extremely dense hard wood with detailed repeated niche motifs around the bottom edge and excellent patina. There are five internal strikers hinged on an iron rod. The bell has a very good sound and was probably made for a buffalo. Circa early 1900s. Size 24cm x 14cm x 7cm.
