antique melas prayer rug. Classic turkish prayer rug with characteristic melas design. Overall mostly even low pile and all good colors. "as found", very dirty with some small worn area and a tear as shown, easily restored. Thin and supple with a nice floppy handle. Getting harder to find fresh anymore. Good age, ca. 1870. 3'7" x 5'4"
