#7573 Peking Chinese Rug
This circa 1920 Peking Chinese Oriental rug measures 4’1” x 6’9” (124 x 210 cm). It has a dark blue field with a center medallion composed of a pagoda, two bats (a sign of good fortune) and some trees with hanging fruit. The corners have an interesting motif. There are a couple of pots that look like jack-o –lanterns in blue flanking an ivory diamond and a rockery scene with pagodas and flowers. The lighter blue border is composed of pagodas, birds, flowers, rocks, bats, butterflies and two handled urns. This rug is in perfect never been walked upon condition. It has full pile. The ends and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping which includes insurance
